A LUNCH WAGON TRUST.

Publication: The New York Times
Date: 13 July 1900

Will Construct Sandwiches and Pies, and Build Automobiles.

Special to The New York Times.

BOSTON, July 12.—The T. H. Buckley Lunch Wagon and Catering Company of Worcester expects to control the lunch wagon business of the United States and Canada.

At a meeting of the stockholders and Directors of the United States Lunch Wagon Company in Portland, Me., yesterday, the offer made by the T. H. Buckley Company to take the wagons, leases, and business of the old company in exchange for stock, share for share, in the larger company was accepted, and this deal practically completed the trust.

The new company will, as soon as the transfer of stock takes place, boom the wagon business, having already planned to build and operate a hundred new wagons in the West. In addition to this, it proposes to branch out in the manufacture of all kinds of wagons and automobiles.
