The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) today released a study on the impact of Florida's motorcycle helmet law repeal. The mandatory helmet law for riders over the age of 18 was repealed in 2000.

The agency has released "Traffic Tech: Florida's Motorcycle Helmet Law Repeal", a report summarizing the study's findings, which can be found on the NHTSA website here.

NHTSA has also released the full report, "Evaluation of the Repeal of the All-Rider Motorcycle Helmet Laws in Florida", which can be found on the agency's website here.
