“I’m very excited about Mid-Ohio. We were able to do some testing last week and the car felt great. I think overall, Barracuda Racing is very excited and appreciative to be where I think we deserve to be. Edmonton was evidence of that. We’ve consistently qualified in the Firestone Fast Six on every street and road course since we switched to Honda.

“The chemistry I have with my engineer and the team is just fantastic. I feel like I’m in the right place, racing for great team owners and friends, who believe in me and push me to drive at a very high level. I feel good and at the top of my game with this team. I can only see positive things happening for us. Hopefully Mid-Ohio we will continue on this trend. The more we put ourselves in position to compete up front, the more we’re going to be able to hope for some great results before the end of the season.

“During my race weekend, I’m also scheduled to do a Honda plant visit. A lot of the associates there are also guests and fans at the Mid-Ohio race, so we have a lot of Honda supporters at the track. I’m excited to see them all and then get out on track.”
