Welcome Back: For the second time this season, ARCA RE/MAX Series rookie Dominick Casola returns to the dirt looking to better his 13th place effort in his inaugural clay debut at the Illinois State Fairgrounds last month.
Confidence Is Everything: After notching a very respectable finish last month at Springfield , Casola has been picked as a dark horse for the 19th event on the 2007 ARCA RE/MAX Series schedule. With four races left following DuQuoin, Casola is itching for another top-10 run.
Heading To The Homestretch: Dominick Casola, a former USAR Hooter’s Pro Cup competitor is competing in the second of three races run in just eight days. Casola made his Gateway International Raceway debut this past Friday and will make his Chicagoland debut this Saturday afternoon at Chicagoland Speedway.
Watcha Haulin?: Crew Chief Andy Belmont has elected to bring Casola “Odie” to DuQuoin State Fairgrounds. This is the same Ford Fusion that Casola piloted at Illinois State Fairgrounds last month which reeled in a stout top-15 finish. The team’s backup machine is nicknamed “Big Bird”.
Point Standings: Competing in 17 of the 18 races on the 2007 ARCA RE/MAX Series schedule, Casola unofficially sits 16th in the championship standings. With just a handful events left this season, Casola is making the charge to put himself and his Andy Belmont Racing team solidly into the top-15.

Andy Belmont Racing, DuQuoin State Fairgrounds Pre-Race Quotes:
Dominick Casola, driver of the No. 1 A. Casola Farms Ford:
On DuQuoin: “This is one of the races I’ve been looking forward to since Springfield . I really enjoy racing on the dirt. The entire Andy Belmont Racing team did an awesome job at the last dirt race and there’s no doubt in my mind that we’ll be a factor on Monday.”
On Dirt Racing: “It’s a lot of fun. It’s the type of track where you have to be on top of your game though. One mistake and it could cost you several positions. I learned a lot in my first race and I know the experience that I retrieved at Springfield will happy be immensely at DuQuoin.”
On Running Three Races In Eight Days: “It’s no easy task. But we’re prepared for it. The guys on the Andy Belmont Racing team have done a great job preparing for this journey. I know I’ll have some good cars and I just have to go out and give 150 percent every race.”
On Points: “I’ve set a goal for myself. I want to finish inside the top-15, we have the equipment to soar ourselves past that, but when the conclusion of the Toledo race falls, I want my team to say, Congratulations Dominick, you finished inside the top-15 in your first season of ARCA.”
