LAS VEGAS -- Pacific Street Car Association racers are not only being given another opportunity to race thanks to Bandimere Speedway and the Super Chevy Show near Denver Aug. 17-18, but they’re being allowed to do it for free.
The Hot Street and Outlaw 10.5 PSCA classes have been invited to participate in what will be the Denver area’s first taste of the West Coast’s hottest drag racing sanction. As a special incentive to those classes, tech fees and class fees will be waived thanks to the generosity of PSCA's marketing partners.
The non-points event will work as a test run on the viability of bringing a full PSCA/Street Car Super Nationals event to the area in 2013. The purse for the two PSCA classes will be announced at a later date. Sanction president Mel Roth said this is a great opportunity for PSCA, its racers, and its Colorado-based fans. “We can’t thank the folks at Bandimere Speedway and our sponsors who are supporting this event enough,” Roth said. “We’ve seen nothing but positive things from the fans in the area and we’re hearing that they want to see a PSCA or Super Street Car Nationals event there next season.”
PSCA marketing sponsors participating in the Super Chevy Show at Bandimere Speedway include
MagnaFuel, Chris Alston's Chassisworks, Mickey Thompson Tires, H.A. Specialties, Santa Fe Sand & Gravel, Lucas Oil, HOM, Edelbrock, Alpha Omega Swiss, Precision Designs, Strube's Performance, B & A Automotive, On Track Performance & AC Transmission.
