Dear ,
As you may be aware, the United States Senate has issued a resolution designating Friday, July 9, 2010 as “Collector Car Appreciation Day.” This effort was undertaken by your SEMA Action Network friends in Washington, D.C. as a means to raise awareness of the vital role automotive restoration and collection plays in American society. As the date approaches, events, car shows, and cruises are being planned nationwide. How will you recognize the day?
We are eager to hear about the events you are planning to commemorate the first ever Collector Car Appreciation Day! We have assembled a collection of tools for your use to make your first ever Collector Car Appreciation Day a huge success. You can access sample press releases, media advisories, logos and more by clicking here.
Car clubs and event organizers interested in having their events listed in our national registry may contact Ethan Landesman at ethanl@sema.org or call 202-783-6007 ext. 39
Collector Car Appreciation Day events throughout the country that have already been scheduled can be found by clicking here.
Join in the fun by Cruisin' your collector car to work, taking part in already scheduled events, or starting a gathering of your own, big or small! Event organizers will each be sent a free 10x15 copy of the Senate Resolution to display at your event.
