The Mid American Stock Car Series recently announced their 2015 racing schedule at the Midwest Racer’s Auction in Delavan, Wisconsin.

Nine events have been finalized at eight different tracks in four states. Additional events are also in the works and hope to be finalized in the next few weeks.

“We’re pretty excited about the schedule,” said Mid American Stock Car Series Co-Owner and Promoter Dave Grueneberg. “This is a very talented group of racers and the tracks know they put on a great show whenever the series comes to town.”

“Based on feedback from our teams we are looking to put together a racing schedule of approximately twelve events,” added Grueneberg. “The response from those in attendance at the Racer’s Auction was very, very positive.”

The opening event for the series will be on April 12th at the Rockford Speedway. The series will return to Madison International Speedway on May 3rd before heading to the Illiana Motor Speedway on May 25th.

The series will also be going to Dells Raceway Park on June 13th.

It will be a busy month of July when the stars of Mid Am travel to State Park Speedway in Wausau on July 11th, Grundy County Speedway in Morris, Illinois, on July 17th, and Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis, Indiana, on July 23rd.

“The guys are really excited about all of our events, but the trip to Lucas Oil Raceway is a big one,” noted Grueneberg.

The Mid Am cars will take to the dirt half-mile at the Dodge County Fairgrounds in Beaver Dam on August 7th. “This is going to be a lot of fun and another example of how versatile these cars are,” said Series co-owner Dawn Bierman.

The series will head to Hawkeye Downs in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on September 5th before returning to the Rockford Speedway on October 3rd and 4th. The series champion will be crowned at Oktoberfest at the La Crosse Speedway on October 10th.

Two additional events are tentatively scheduled for June 20th at Jefferson Speedway and July 12th at the Slinger Speedway.

“What people don’t realize is that these cars are built to run on just about any type of track be it any length or configuration of paved oval, road courses, and dirt tracks too,” said Grueneberg.

Bierman summed it up this way: “The bottom line is this. When the Mid American Stock Car Series comes to your local t;rack, you’re going to see a group of very talented, classy drivers with awesome looking cars put on an incredible show. That’s what we’re all about.”
