Mid American Stock Car Series
March 13, 2014
Selected dates from the Mid-American Stock Car Series schedule will once again be televised, both nationally and regionally, during the upcoming 2014 racing season. The series will continue its relationship with Sopwith Motorsports Television Productions, which brought Mid-Am racing to television for the first time in 2013.
Sopwith announced this week that Mid-American racing will again be featured on “Sopwith Motorsports TV,” the popular short track program that airs in more than 50 million homes nationwide. Affiliate networks include TUFF TV, Untamed Sports TV, Time Warner Cable SportsChannel 32 of Wisconsin and online at Motorsportworld.TV.
“I'm really pleased that all of our network affiliates enjoyed the program and we had a 100% renewal rate,” said Sopwith executive producer Stephen Cox. “We have excellent coverage in Mid-Am's home state with Time Warner. They're the biggest cable provider in Wisconsin. This gives Mid-Am teams something concrete that they can take to sponsors to raise funds for their teams and get legitimate publicity for their sponsors in their home state.”
Six races are scheduled for television in 2014 with a possible seventh race to be added later.
· Episode 1 - May 30, Vercauteren Memorial at Wisconsin International Raceway
· Episode 2 - June 30, ARCA Fest Stock Car Festival at Milwaukee Mile
