Mid American Stock Car Series
January 9, 2011

FORT ATKINSON, Wis. (January 9, 2011) – The Mid-American Stock Car Series released a tentative 2011 schedule Saturday. The schedule contains ten events with several more tentative dates yet to be added. Mid-American’s 19th season kicks off on Saturday, Apr. 17 at Rockford Speedway in Loves Park, Ill.

The tentative MASCS schedule can be found at www.midamericanracing.com/schedule

For the first time in MASCS history, the series will make two trips to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula with stops at Norway Speedway on May 14 and Aug. 5. The series is also slated to stop at Dells Raceway Park twice.

Between the first stop at Norway and the first at DRP will be a stop at Marshfield Motor Speedway. After the first four events the series will return to the clay for the second consecutive season in the non-points Big Clay Clash for Cash.

Mid-American is in negotiation with Wisconsin International Raceway (July 14), Golden Sands Speedway (July 15) and Grundy County Speedway (date to be determined).

As it has in past seasons, the series will end 2011 with a three-week dash including Madison International Speedway, Rockford Speedway and La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway.

On Jan. 15 Mid-American officially ends its 2010 campaign with the awards banquet at Wintergreen Resort and Conference Center in Wisconsin Dells, Wis. Among giveaways to eligible drivers will be an engine prepared by B&B Race Engines. For more information visit www.wintergreen-resort.com
