JOLIET, Illinois (June 2, 2011) - - Still thriving on their first career top-10 performance at New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP) in the most recent ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards race, CGH Motorsports’ pilot Chad Hackenbracht and his family-owned team head to Chicagoland Speedway this weekend looking to continue their uphill season climb.

After embracing some tough luck in the first and third race of the season, the last two ARCA races have seen a tremendous breakout for the Mooresville, North Carolina-based team giving the New Philadelphia, Ohio some much needed momentum for this weekend’s Messina Animal Wildlife Stopper 150.

The team also returns to the “Windy City” looking for vengeance after a promising run was halted when a cut tire saw a top-10 run result in a disappointing finish. The cookie cutters mile and a half tracks were also a strong point for the CGH Motorsports team in the qualifying department where they delivered 11th and ninth place starting positions in the final two 1.5-mile tracks of the year.

“I cannot wait to get back to Chicagoland this weekend,” said 19-year old Chad Hackenbracht. “The team has been steadily preparing for this race. I feel this place owes us one after our bad luck there last year.”

Despite the Holiday on Monday, it’s been an extremely busy week for the CGH Motorsports team. The team departed North Carolina on Wednesday afternoon and headed to Winchester, Indiana to test at Winchester Speedway in preparation for the short track event later this month.

“We felt like this was a prime opportunity to go to Winchester,” Hackenbracht explained. “Everyone saw how much good the testing did us at Salem, so we knew that we needed to do the same for Winchester, especially after how intimidating everyone says the track is.”

But, before the 2008 National Asphalt Legends champion can focus on the Winchester ARCA 200 presented by Federated Auto Parts on June 25, he knows has to keep his momentum building in this stretch of four consecutive races, especially after climbing into the top-10 after their outstanding performance at NJMP.

“We’re not done yet,” offered Hackenbracht in regards to his recent uphill swing in their chase for the championship. “I know we still have a long way to go, but we’re not going down without a fight. This team is tough and full of heart. A good run on Saturday will be the key to continuing on success on track.”

CGH Motorsports is actively seeking additional marketing partners for the full 2011 ARCA Racing Series schedule. Single, multi and full-season placements are available on the team’s No. 58 entries. Interested parties are urged to contact Jordan Dahl at 570.234.5449 or jordan@cghmotorsports.com.

The Messina Animal Wildlife Stopper 150 (100 laps / 150 miles) is the sixth of 19 events on the 2011 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards schedule. The 11th ARCA event held at Chicagoland Speedway is a two-day show. Practice begins Friday, June 3 with a one hour and twenty minute practice session planned from 2:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Menards Pole by Ansell qualifying is slated to begin at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 4. The field will take the green flag shortly after 5:00 p.m. The event will be televised same-day delayed on SPEED beginning at 10:00 p.m. CST / 11:00 p.m. EST.
