MOORESVILLE, North Carolina (May 22, 2008) - - Mooresville, North Carolina based company Race Fumes announced today that they have teamed up with fellow Mooresville, North Carolina NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) team Elite 2 Racing and its driver Mike Harmon as a sponsor on the team’s No. 84 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS for Saturday night’s CARQUEST Auto Parts 300 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway.
Race Fumes was developed in the heartland of Stock Car Racing by stock car fans for stock car fans in “ Race City USA ”, Mooresville , North Carolina located just twenty miles from Lowe’s Motor Speedway.
Returning to Lowe’s Motor Speedway for a second consecutive year, Race Fumes is looking to bring further awareness to its exciting products while hoping to grasp the attention of fellow NASCAR fans.

Last season, Race Fumes debuted it’s product in the NNS with Fitz Motorsports and driver David Stremme in the CARQUEST Auto Parts 300 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway. After qualifying 20th Stremme rallied his No. 22 Dodge Charger during the event to record a respectable 16th place finish.
Elite 2 Racing has made eight NASCAR Nationwide Series starts this year. Last month, Harmon netted his career best NASCAR finish at Talladega Superspeedway. After starting shotgun (43rd) on the field Harmon tackled the 2.666-mile speedway to mount an impressive 17th place finish.
Harmon will attempt to make his third start at the 1.5-mile oval with previous starts occurring in 2001 and 2003. With 46 cars pre-entered for Saturday night’s thriller, the Birmingport, Alabama native must qualify for Saturday’s event on time.
“We’re looking forward to promoting such a cool product,” stated Harmon, who aims to make his 109th career NASCAR start Saturday night. “I’m very aware of the progress that Race Fumes has conquered over the last year and I feel that this unique sponsor will bring some great exposure to our Elite 2 Racing team this weekend at Lowe’s Motor Speedway.”
The CARQUEST Auto Parts 300 is set for Saturday, May 24 with the green flag scheduled to waive shortly after 7:30 p.m. live on ESPN2 and the Performance Racing Network (Radio). The race will also be available via Sirius satellite radio channel 128.

In addition to running a majority of the 2008 NASCAR Nationwide Schedule, Harmon has been running the full ARCA RE/MAX Series schedule behind the wheel of his No. 24 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS. Currently, Harmon sits 17th in championship points.
