“ New Jersey Native Anxious To Make It Two Top-10 Finishes In A Row”

Dominick Casola
LONG POND, Pennsylvania (June 4, 2008) - - With two straight top-10 finishes in a row for Win-Tron Racing, the team welcomes back sophomore driver Dominick Casola back in time for Saturday’s Pocono ARCA 200.

And if the Holmdel, New Jersey ’s prior performance at the tricky 2.5-mile triangular race course is any indication on how he’ll run this weekend, the team may very well be onto their season best finish not to mention three-straight top-10 efforts.

The former USAR superstar made his Pocono Raceway debut last June with a solid top-15 finish. With some experience under his belt, Casola stepped up to the plate in the second event two months later which saw the second-year driver storm into the lead before attracting his very first career top-10 ARCA finish.

With his Pocono finishes still fresh in his mind, Casola is eager to climb behind the No. 32 Win-Tron Racing entry with hopes of a stellar finish.

“Pocono is huge for me,” said Casola. “It’s almost a home town race. I’ll have a lot of friends and family at Pocono Raceway this weekend and I know that as a team we have a shot to be in contention for a strong finish.”

Casola added, “Pocono is like nothing that we even come close to racing on the ARCA schedule this season. It’s a unique place. I learned a lot in my first race last year and I think it showed in the second race. I know that the Win-Tron Racing bunch has worked hard to bring me a good car this weekend and I think if all the cards fall our way, we can continue to turn our season around.”

Following Pocono, Casola will give-way as the driver of the No. 32 Dodge Charger to allow focus on preparing for the second-half of the season which for Casola begins with Berlin Raceway on July 26th.

“It was extremely hard for me to climb out of the seat for Toledo and it will be incredibly hard to do it for Michigan , Cayuga and Kentucky . However, we’re working hard to try and increase my current ARCA schedule with Win-Tron Racing. This is where I want to be. It’s a great team surrounded by knowledgeable people but we need to acquire the proper sponsorship in order to make that happen. We’re working around the clock to try and make it a reality.”

Win-Tron Racing’s Nate Thiesse offered on Casola’s return; “We’re glad to have DC (Dominick Casola) back. We’re going to a track we’re all familiar with and I think we’ll have a strong weekend. Dominick has been talking about Pocono all season long and we’re hoping that the outcome is what we’re all looking for.”

Entering Pocono, Win-Tron Racing sits 17th in the ARCA RE/MAX Series owner’s standings after seven races. 70 credits separate car owner Kevin Cywinski from the 15th position held by Russ Roulo (No. 39). The team advanced five positions from their last outing at Toledo Speedway last month.

Steering towards Pocono, Casola maintains 19th in the ARCA RE/MAX Series championship standings despite missing the Hantz Group 200 by Federated Car Care last month at Toledo Speedway. Casola has competed in six of a possible seven races thus far in 2008 and is ahead of full-time ARCA RE/MAX Series drivers who have attempted and competed in all seven races this season. 155 markers separate Casola from entering the top-14 currently locked by regulars Darrell Basham and Norm Benning.

A. Casola Farms, a family-owned business will sponsor Casola’s No. 32 Dodge Charger this weekend at Pocono Raceway. Casola will make his 29th career ARCA start and his third start at the 2.5-mile speed plant on Saturday afternoon.
