COMMENT PERIOD OPEN 5/13/2015 - 6/26/2015
The Federal Vehicle Standards comment collection period for medium and heavy duty trucks only will be open May 13, 2015 through June 26, 2015.
NOTE! Comment periods for wreckers and buses will be available at a later time. Please do not submit comments for these vehicles at this time. Comments submitted for vehicles other than medium and heavy duty vehicles will not be considered.
The comment collection period supports the required coordination activities for vehicle standards and specifications development. Interested parties can view federal vehicle standard items and documentation and submit their comments online.
We are also pleased to announce the Federal Vehicle Standards website has been redesigned! The website can now be found at the following link (please update your bookmarks):

The redesigned site follows the same look-and-feel as our other previously redesigned websites. The basic functionality of the previous standards website remains the same. The new site will also continue to house an archive of previous model year data and documentation.

Once the standards website is open:
Log in with existing account or create a new account with a valid email address before submitting comments. Existing accounts from the old website have been transferred to the new Federal Vehicle Standards site.
Select the year “2016”.
