Volkswagen USA have only just announced the Mk7 Golf and to celebrate are releasing images on their Facebook page of all seven generations of the seminal hatch.

You may notice the non-standard wheels (BBS? Sure someone will let us know), the hoodie-adorned owner, the lack of any stripes or stickers, the chrome mirror and the fact it sits one inch above the ground.
