This is a Ferrari design concept called Sergio created by Pininfarina, and supported by Luca Di Montezemolo. The Sergio is named after Sergio Pininfarina, the son of company founder Battista, who ran Pininfarina from until 1961 until 2001.
The Sergio is a two seater barchetta based on Ferrari 458 Spider mechanicals and will be produced to order in limited units, although Pinifarina have released no pricing information. The 458 engine, drivetrain, steering wheel, dash and chassis have all been retained so essentially the Sergio is a rebodied version of the 458 - thus their talk of being able to produce the car isn't just wishful thinking.
Pinifarina should know how to work with the 458 as they designed it in the first place.
As you can see from the images the Sergio is a true barchetta in that it doesn't come with a windscreen, but instead is supplied with two bespoke helmets for driver and passenger. The rear roll hoop contains no glass, otherwise it would provide something of an airdam, especially considering the 458's capabilities - 570bhp, 0-62mph in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 198mph.
