At a recent Jaguar media day this F-Type was on display. The F-Type will be available in June 2013 and comes with either a V6 or V8 engine. I've driven XFs with both engines and, given the comparative light weight of the F-Type (1,600kg), either will be more than powerful enough. 0-60 times range from 5.1 seconds in the 340bhp V6 to 4.2 in the 495bhp V8.
The F-Type will be fitted with Jaguar's 8-speed semi-automatic gearbox, which works a treat in the XF.
With the F-Type being released in the summer, and the XFR-S approaching, 2013 looks like being the year of the Jaguar.
