Oh, we like this. Ford have released details of the new Transit Custom Sport van. Yes it's a van but it's a great looking van and, having driven the Jaguar XFR recently, makes us all dewy eyed for 70s cop shows with baddies in fast Jag saloons and Ford Transits.
Built in Dagenham the Transit Custom Sport gets Ford's 2.2 litre Duratec diesel engine with 155bhp and 258 lb ft of torque. It also gets a part leather interior and DAB Audio system.
Outside, and the Customer Sport gets a body kit, colour coded exterior with body coloured buyers, mirrors, door handles and twin stripes, and 18 inch wheels.
The Ford Transit Custom Sport van will be available to order in early 2013. Shortly afterwards expect the back streets of London to be filled with the sounds of criminals in Jaguar XFRs, Ford Focus STs and Ford Transit Custom Sports being chased by the filth, in diesel Astras.
