THREE BUICK MACHINES SOLD BEFORE EXHIBIT

Los Angeles Herald
February 20, 1910

Local Purchasers Take Part of Consignment to Howard Firm on First Demonstration

The Howard auto company, Buick agents, have already sold three of the nine cars being exhibited at the Licensed Dealers' auto show. The model 2A, light delivery wagon was sold to the Brunswig Drug company. The model 19, 30 H. P. car was sold to Service Bros., in the Frost building, and the model 10 surrey goes to F. H. Redpath, 4200 South Flower Street. The model 19 and the truck were sold by Manager Frank Howard on the very first demonstration.

In anticipation of the larger amount of business during and after the auto show at Fiesta park, the Howard Automobile company has been ordering heavily, Manager Howard vouches for the statement that they have not fewer than sixty autos en route to Los Angeles at the present time.

Messrs. Ert and Drury of the Bakersfield Auto and Supply company, representatives of the Buick at Bakersfield, last Wednesday purchased a carload of Buicks from the Howard Auto company. The order specified "as soon as possible," whereat Mr. Howard immediately diverted a carload of cars then at Sparks, Nevada, to Bakersfield.
