Big-Car Race May 25

Trenton, N. J., May 16 — Two hard-pedaling Jerseyites, Mark Sooey, Bridgeton, and Johnny Matera, Elizabeth, are impatiently awaiting the season's opening AAA big-car auto races at the state fairgrounds here, Sunday, May 25.

Having been around the tracks and grease pits a long time, the Skeeter pair have advised Racemaster Sam Nunis they would "shoot the works" here next week end. Matera pilots a Hal Special and Sooey a Riley Special.

While each of the Jersey Devils has enjoyed some success in the past, they join in the opinion that this will be their big year on the speed strip.
