TALLADEGA, Ala. (October 22, 2015) - - While Chad Finley has done an exceptional job in the first two NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) races for Rette Jones Racing, Finley has turned over the steering wheel to his boss Terry Jones for Saturday afternoon’s fred’s 250 at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway.

Jones, the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards veteran returns to NASCAR Camping World Truck Series since 2010 where he competed in four races.

Fast forward to this weekend, Jones heads to the 2.66-mile superspeedway of Talladega, a track he’s very familiar with and looks to unleash another strength in the team’s potential to conquer restrictor plate racing.

“Really glad to be back in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series this weekend,” said Jones. “It’s been a while since I’ve been on this side, but I’m looking forward to having some fun and being competitive with our No. 30 Chevrolet Silverado.”

While limited experience in trucks, Jones is no slouch on Talladega Boulevard. In eight ARCA starts at ‘Dega, Jones has a career-best finish of fifth in 2013.

Building a team that he owns with former ARCA championship crew chief Mark Rette in January, the two friends have built a solid foundation and provided competitive rides from ARCA to the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East and most recently the trucks, the ability to carry the team in a no-holds-barred chess match, Jones hopes to deliver a finish that will carry momentum for the Mooresville, North Carolina-based team into the off-season and 2016.

“Mark doesn’t get enough credit for what he’s built in a short amount of time,” added Jones. “Rette Jones Racing was a dream we envisioned a couple years ago and during the off season last year, we put everything into rotation and I couldn’t be more proud to see how successful we’ve become in a short amount of time.”

The team’s capabilities were enough to attract new sponsorship, as Nortrax joins Rette Jones Racing as the primary partner of the team’s No. 30 Chevrolet.

Nortrax is a subsidiary of machinery manufacturer John Deere. Nortrax sells heavy equipment, such as bulldozers and backhoes for the construction, mining, forestry and utility industries. Nortrax has over 53 offices around the United States. The company is North America’s main John Deere dealership group, extending across the eastern and central portions of the United States and Canada.

Jones Group International, owned by Jones and another marketing partner for Saturday’s fred’s 250 is a proud Nortrax partner.

“We’re glad to have Nortrax onboard with us this weekend at Talladega,” added Jones. “The truck looks great and it’s been a long time since we’ve seen Nortrax involved in any kind of Motorsports. Of course, when it comes to Talladega, everyone’s goal is to have a strong run and stay out of the “Big One.” Our goal is the same, but if we can play the cards right, maybe we’ll find ourselves with the right help at the right time and we might just pull off an upset. That would be incredible.”

For Rette, the chance to call the shots for his business partner, but his friend makes Talladega that more special.

“We’re hoping to make this a weekend that we won’t soon forget,” offered Rette. “Without Terry, there is no Rette Jones Racing. We have worked hard to build what we have and we’re thankful for the people that have allowed Talladega to happen. Terry knows what it takes to be successful at Talladega, we just need the cards to fall to make it happen. Our goal on Saturday is to make sure everyone knew we were there.”

In addition to Nortrax, Rette Jones Racing is pleased to welcome several associate marketing partners for the 19th race of the season. Airlift Company, Arnott Construction Ltd., Auto Value Parts Stores, Colautti Group, Drain Bros. Excavating Limited, Goodridge Fluid Transfer Systems, JAAR Excavating, Jones Group International, Omega Construction Inc., Pro System, Shearock and Russo’s Tinting as associate marketing partners for the 94-lap race.

The fred’s 250 fueled by Coca-Cola (94 laps / 250 miles) is the 19th of 23 events on the 2015 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series schedule. The first practice session of the weekend begins on Friday, October 23 from 12:00 p.m. – 12:55 p.m. A final session has been etched in for later in the day from 2:00 p.m. – 2:55 p.m. Qualifying is set for race day, Saturday, October 24 scheduled to lift off at 9:30 a.m. The 32-truck starting field will take the green flag shortly after 12:00 p.m. with live coverage on FOX, the Motor Racing Network (Radio) and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (Satellite Radio, Channel 90. All times are local (Central).
