Hello Bill,

I found your name and email as I was searching for a '79 Fire Arrow. This is a long shot but there is nothing lost in trying, I am wondering if the person who owned the car in the picture is maybe thinking of selling it, or, by chance if you know of anyone with one they are looking to sell.

It was the first car I ever had and I have regretted having to sell the car when I did. So, I am beating the bushes on the internet and locally trying to find one, and if by some odd stroke of luck you know of one or can provide any sort of help I would be very grateful.

Sorry to be a stranger taking up your time with this, it's a heck of a way to introduce oneself, but the car was rare when it came out so the odds of finding one are rather small. I know I will have to try hard.

Thank you for your time and I hope you are still enjoying what you do in the area of cars and racing.

I responded:

Sorry, I don't know who owns it. I remember the car, I don't see many like that. No problem about the time, I'm just happy to see that people are finding my efforts to post this stuff online useful.

I'll probably go back to that show again this year, and if I see the car again I'll drop a business card with a note on the driver's seat...if I can't find the driver in person.

Would it be okay to quote your email in a post to my site? Maybe since it's a rare car the owner will come across the post and send me an e-mail that I can forward to you.

So, if anyone knows who owns the white Plymouth Fire Arrow in Wisconsin, or any Plymouth Fire Arrow, have them e-mail admin@carsandracingstuff.com and I'll pass the message along to Richard.
