AVONDALE, Ariz. (March 11, 2016) - - Officials from B.J. McLeod Motorsports announced today that X-Treme PH Sports Water will serve as the primary marketing partner of the team’s No. 78 and No. 99 Ford Mustangs for Saturday’s Axalta Faster. Tougher. Brighter. 200 at Phoenix (Ariz.) International Raceway.
Based in West Monroe, Louisiana, X-Treme PH is a high alkaline water that allows for faster absorption into the body’s cells for hydration. The popular refreshment has served as an associate marketing partner with the team for the first three NASCAR XFINITY Series races this season.
“We can’t get through the weekend without plenty of X-Treme PH Sports Water, so we’re stoked to have them on board this weekend at Phoenix,” said team principal B.J. McLeod. “Their product is one that is very much utilized in the garage area not only by us, but other teams and NASCAR fans as well. Being a part of a sport where hydration is critical to success, we look forward to helping X-Treme PH Sports Water spread their message.”
Bottled in a heavier 22-gram bottle made to withstand the rigors of sports, workouts and more, X-Treme PH Sports Water represents the only high-alkaline water that achieves its high alkalinity of 9-plus pH using a proprietary, plant-derived mixture of calcium, magnesium and potassium, which is injected into its source water at very low levels for a TDS of less than 25 ppm per bottle. The variety is made with zero dyes, sugars, caffeine, sweeteners and artificial flavor.
McLeod, a successful entrepreneur by trade is off to a solid start in the NASCAR XFINITY Series this season. After three races, McLeod sits 17th in the championship standings and continues to build his newly founded full-time XFINITY Series team. This weekend, the 32-year-old will make his 15th career XFINITY Series start and second at Phoenix’s 1.0-mile oval.
“We’re optimistic about the weekend,” added McLeod. “The guys have worked hard to get our cars ready for round two of the west coast swing and we’re ready to continue our steady progress with another solid run on Saturday afternoon.”
McLeod’s teammate and close friend Todd Peck will continue to drive the team’s second entry, the No. 99 X-Treme PH Ford Mustang aiming for his second start of the season and third race of his NXS career.
