LAS VEGAS, Nev. (March 3, 2016) - - On the heels of two back-to-back respective performances in the first two NASCAR XFINITY Series at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway and Atlanta (Ga.) Motor Speedway, B.J. McLeod Motorsports is feeling recharged heading to Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway (LVMS) this weekend.

The Mooresville, North Carolina-based team announced today that Batteries Plus Bulbs®, who paired with the newly founded XFINITY Series team last month has extended their partnership for Saturday’s Boyd Gaming 300 at LVMS.

The Batteries Plus Bulbs® race cars will look slightly different for the third race of the season, as the team will unveil an updated look for the Boyd Gaming 300. Carrying the similar slick-looking paint scheme on the No. 78 driven by McLeod, his car and Peck’s will feature a reflective burst around the Batteries Plus Bulbs® signage.

“The updated look is perfect for the west coast swing where we’ll see warmer temperatures and plenty of sunshine,” added McLeod. “We have some accomplishable goals for Vegas this weekend and the next two races and I’m looking forward to delivering for Batteries Plus Bulbs®, their franchisees and our fans.”

The Boyd Gaming 300 (200 laps / 300 miles) is the third of 33 NASCAR XFINITY Series on the 2016 schedule. Practice begins on Friday, March 4 from 12:30 p.m. – 1:55 p.m. A final practice has been etched in from 3:00 p.m. – 3:55 p.m. Qualifying is set for race day, Saturday, March 5 beginning at 9:45 a.m. The 40-car field will take the green flag shortly after 1:00 p.m. with live coverage on FOX Sports 1, the Performance Racing Network (Radio) and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (Satellite Radio, Channel 90).
