Young’s Motorsports, Atlanta (Ga.) Motor Speedway, Pre-Race Quotes: Tyler Young, driver of the No. 02 Randco / Young’s Building Systems Chevrolet:

On Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway: “Wow, what a night we had at Daytona. It was a really a great accomplishment for our Young’s Motorsports team. We definitely had a race-winning truck, we just needed to make sure we were around for the end, so we didn’t push the issue. We ran out of laps, otherwise, I felt like we would have been contending for a top-three finish.”

On Being Sixth In Championship Points: “As everyone knows momentum is everything in this sport. I’m extremely proud of our Young’s Motorsports team for their relentless effort during the off-season and at Daytona last weekend. We know that if we can capitalize on the momentum with another solid run on Saturday night, it will be our best start ever in trucks and something to be extremely proud of entering the first break of the season.”

On Atlanta (Ga.) Motor Speedway: “I’m confident our on-track performance will be make huge strides at Atlanta this weekend. I learned a lot about the track last year and no doubt what our team gathered on the intermediate tracks last year should help us immensely this weekend. I’m excited to get the weekend going.”

On The Newly Implemented Caution Clock: “For me personally, I like it. It brings a different dynamic to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and definitely opens the window for the series to be more entertaining and competitive at the same time. I don’t think you’ll see teams try to “beat” the clock like they did last year. Too much time will be lost with nothing to gain under green flag conditions. I’m really intrigued to see how it continues to play out for more races in the future.”
