Conducts Inquest In Auto Death

The Day (New London, Connecticut)
1 September 1936

An inquest into the death of John Walczak, formerly of Fall River, Mass., and also known as Warchuck and Ronsuch, was conducted this afternoon by Coroner Edward G. McKay at his office in Norwich.

Walczak was fatally injured last week at Colchester when he was struck by an automobile operated by Michael Dembenski of that town. Dembenski is being held on bail on a technical charge of manslaughter, pending the finding of Coroner McKay.

Witnesses at the inquest included State Trooper Roy Goodale of the Groton barracks, Dembenski and Kenneth Waldon of Salem, who was a passenger in Dembenski's car.
