Youthful Italian Far Ahead of Field with Tommy Milton Second and Hartz Third.

LOS ANGELES, Calif., Nov. 30.—(AP)—Peter DePaolo, youthful Italian automobile racer and winner of the 500-mile Memorial day race of the Indianapolis Speedway, is the 1925 champion of the motor car racers.

Announcement to this effect was made last night by the American Automobile association after the 2501mile race at Culver City, the last event of the racing season.

DePaolo with 3,260 points was far ahead of the field with Tommy Milton second by virtue of 1,710 points. Harry Hartz was third; Bob McDonogh fourth and Earl Cooper, fifth.
