18 Dead in Indonesia Traffic Collision

Police in Indonesia say at least 18 people were killed when a pickup truck collided with a tractor-trailer truck on the main island of Java.

A police spokesman said the pickup, loaded with all female passengers, was traveling to a funeral in Probolinggo district late Saturday when it hit the trailer truck while trying to pass three other vehicles.

At least 13 other women were hospitalized with serious injuries.
