The Best 2007 Vehicles For Road Trips

The Best 2007 Vehicles For Road Trips

Sitting by the window you ask yourself, when does summer really start?

Well, it is up to you when summer really starts. After all, what you are most excited about is not the hot weather but that free time which you can use to relax, be with friends, be with family, and go places. And your best friend is going to be your trusty vehicle.

As part of the season, Kelley Blue Book’s (kbb.com) editors did come up with a list of the top ten best vehicles that would most certainly be the bestest of all best automobiles you can have during the summer driving season. This list, of course, could be a great help to you especially if you are looking forward to having a great drive with that new vehicle that you are still deciding on.

Jack R. Nerad is the executive editorial director as well as the executive market analyst for the group and he shares, “In choosing our list, we wanted to include a vehicle for every journey - from weekend jaunts of one or two people, to week-long escapades that involve one or two entire families and maybe a dog and a boat. Our selection criteria included all the tangible and intangible need-to-have attributes such as driving enjoyment, passenger comfort, fuel economy and cargo space.” Of course, it is plain enough to see that the editors did not just choose the vehicle that comes with the best parts like those from Active Brakes Direct but they did consider other important factors that would be a big plus for summer fun driving.

For this year, kbb.com chose the Jaguar XKR convertible as the top vehicle for the list. The editors say that this vehicle would make you feel cool and desirable for this one comes not only with style and comfort, but it also has a great boost in power. The same kind of description has been given by the editors for the BMW 3-Series convertible which takes the second spot.

Taking the number three spot is the Chevrolet Suburban which can be a good vehicle to use if you are going to bring with you tons of stuff. This one is going to be a great one to use especially if you are going to travel with your family or friends.

While traveling, you can still be entertained with the Dodge Charger SRT8’s DVD entertainment system for rear passengers. And this vehicle takes on the 4th spot. This muscle car also comes with a really good amount of power that you would not find in other vehicles.

Other vehicles that made it to the list comprise of the Mercedes Benz E320 Bluetech (5th), GMC Acadia (6th), Land Rover LR3 (7th), Ford Edge (8th), MINI Cooper (9th), and the Mazda MX-5 Miata convertible hardtop (10th).
