ALBUQUERQUE – Celebrate the Holidays with a safe ride home. The New Mexico Department of Transportation, is committed to ending DWI. NMDOT is partnering with Bernalillo County, the city of Albuquerque, Cumulus radio stations and Uber to support “Take a Ride on Us.”
A single Uber credit of up to $10 will be offered in the Bernalillo County metro area beginning at noon on Wednesday, Nov. 27 through Monday, Dec. 2 at 3:00 a.m.
Two thousand rides will be available for the Thanksgiving “Take a Ride on Us” program under the Uber app, using the code: ABQTURKEY19. Tips are not included and refunds are not provided for trips under $10.
Since Christmas 2018, this public-private partnership has provided thousands of safe rides home to New Mexican’s living in the Albuquerque metro area who chose not to drink and drive.
Working together, we can ENDWI.
