The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Violent Crimes Task Force and the San Diego Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the individuals responsible for an attempted bank robbery in San Diego, California.

The attempted robbery occurred on December 7, 2017, at approximately 2:40 p.m., at the Bank of America located at 605 Saturn Boulevard, San Diego, California. During the robbery, a female approached a teller and demanded money by presenting a note. The teller did not comply with the demand. As a result, the robber departed the bank without receiving money and entered the passenger side of an awaiting silver Ford Mustang. Investigators believe that the Mustang has a black racing stripe down the center.

Witnesses have described the robber as follows: Hispanic female; approximately 5’6” tall; between 25-35 years old; with a medium build. During the robbery, the robber wore a camouflage shirt and jacket with the hood covering her head as well as gold rimmed aviator style sunglasses.

Bank surveillance photographs and video are being issued to the media in order to generate tips from the public. Anyone with information as to the identities or whereabouts of the suspects are urged to contact the FBI at 858-320-1800; https://tips.fbi.gov/; or San Diego Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477; www.sdcrimestoppers.org.
