Move needed to accommodate mall construction

NEWARK, NJ – NJ TRANSIT will relocate the bus stop at the Garden State Plaza in Paramus beginning Monday, January 2 to accommodate the mall’s planned expansion project.
NJ TRANSIT worked in cooperation with Garden State Plaza Mall management to move the current bus stop, located on the east side of the mall outside of Legal Sea Foods restaurant, to a new location outside of the Lord & Taylor and Neiman Marcus mall exits (within parking lot #45).
As a result, NJ TRANSIT will reroute the following bus lines to enter and exit the mall via Garden State Plaza Boulevard:
The nos. 171 and 756 bus routes will continue to enter and exit the mall via NJ Route 4.
In preparation of the move, bus shelters at the existing stop will be removed and relocated to the new bus stop beginning on Friday, December 30 and continuing through Saturday, December 31. The current stop will remain in service while this work occurs.
