ORLANDO, Florida (December 11, 2009)Officials from Sheltra Motorsports, LLC and CAM2 International, LLC announced today at the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) tradeshow in Orlando, Florida that the two organizations will pair up for the 2010 racing season which will consist of the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards and the NASCAR Nationwide Series with driver Patrick Sheltra at the controls.

It will be the first unification between the two entities next year but CAM2 will drive its focus on re-entering the Motorsports arena with the strength and support of the veteran Sheltra Motorsports team.

CAM2 motor oil was introduced in 1975 by the Sun Refining and Marketing Co. as a "do-it-yourself" motor oil. The CAM2 brand was eventually purchased by a group of motor oil distributors and became the CAM2 Oil Products Co., with headquarters in Denver, and marketing offices in Philadelphia. In 2007, CAM2 Oil Products Co. merged with International Petroleum of Hammond, IN forming CAM2 International, LLC.

CAM2 was the first multi-viscosity motor oil to be sanctioned by the United States Auto Club (USAC) for championship racing and the first to win the Indianapolis 500. Products include power steering fluid, greases, heavy duty diesel engine oils, industrial lubricants and gear oils.

In addition to the partnership with Sheltra Motorsports, CAM2 will also align its bulk oil division and join forces with one of the team’s marketing partners, Sheltra & Son Construction, Inc. headquartered in Indiantown, Florida.

“We are very excited about this partnership with CAM2 next year,” said driver Patrick Sheltra who is gunning for the ARCA championship crown in 2010. We’ve done our homework together and we feel that this partnership is the start of something that will last for many years to come. We are driven to making CAM2 a winning name not only with our team but also in stock-car racing. Additionally, we are very pleased that CAM2 will be working with Sheltra & Son Construction, Inc. and we expect magnificent results from that partnership as well.”

Bill Strock, Director of Motorsports at CAM2 said, “We are very proud to have this affiliation with Patrick Sheltra and Sheltra Motorsports. We’ve spoken to the team in great lengths before we decided to bring our two organizations together. With their success on the track and their devotion to their marketing partners away from the track – we feel that this is a win-win situation. We’re looking forward to going to victory lane with Patrick (Sheltra) in 2010.”
