ROCKINGHAM NC (9-22-09) – The Venturini Motorsports Team and Canadian ARCA RE/MAX Series driver, Steve Arpin, are heading to Rockingham Speedway Wednesday to participate in the ARCA RE/MAX Series open test. The team will be gearing up and preparing for the final race of the 2009 season to take place October 11th in Rockingham, NC.

Since joining forces with Venturini Motorsports, Steve Arpin has captured 3 top five finishes and 5 top 10 finishes while competing in only 7 events. Now, as the series closes in on the last two events Steve Arpin would like nothing more than a win for team.

“Everyone at Venturini Motorsports has been awesome. Switching teams half way through the season was not something that most people recommended, but the chemistry was there right from the start and we have grown so much as a team in the past few months,” said Arpin. “These guys don’t work 9-5 and the hours and hard work that they have put into my cars is incredible. They deserve a win and I am going to do everything I can to get them one in these next two races.”

The Venturini Crew is not new to the winner’s circles at Rockingham Speedway, as the team picked up the win earlier this year in April when the ARCA RE/MAX Series rolled into Rockingham, NC.

ARCA RE/MAX Series testing at Rockingham is scheduled for Wednesday, September 23rd with on-track activities slated from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Media is welcome to attend. Admission is free for grandstand seating for the test session. ARCAracing.com will be featuring live timing and scoring of all the on-track activity.
