Kansas City, KS (9-29-09) – Steve Arpin announced today that the New Mexico based Mundy Ranch will join forces with the No.15 Venturini Motorsports team for Thursday night’s Kansas Lottery 150 at Kansas Speedway.
The 2009 season has been a numbers game, of sorts for the talented racer from Fort Frances, Ontario and that game will take another twist on Thursday when Arpin climbs aboard the No.15 Venturini Motorsports entry in the event that will be aired on SPEED TV. Currently posted in the 7th position of the season-long ARCA driver's championship, Arpin will be making his first-ever start at the 1.5 mile Kansas Speedway with a shot of moving into the tour's top-five standings prior to the season finale at Rockingham, North Carolina on October 11th..
“Kansas is going to be an exciting weekend for us,” said Arpin. “We are really getting some momentum going and we were real strong at the Kansas test. The car was great at Chicago and Kansas is very similar to that.”
“We are very fortunate to have Mundy Ranch.com on board with us for the remainder of the season. They have some of the most beautiful land in New Mexico for sale, so if you enjoy hunting, fishing, golfing, and the wild outdoors make sure you check out mundyranch.com.”
Jim Pohlman, Crew Chief for Justin Allagier in the 2008 ARCA RE/MAX Series, will be sitting atop the pit box and calling the shots for Steve Arpin and the No.15 MundyRanch.com Toyota this Thursday. Jim has been working as a mentor for Steve Arpin throughout his transition from dirt racing to asphalt racing and has been a big part of Steve’s success thus far.
“I've worked a lot with Jim Pohlman this year and he has been a key factor in getting our program turned around for us. Him and I work well together and are going to be the car to beat this weekend,” said Arpin who is excited to have Pohlman on board for this weekend.
The Mundy Ranch is dedicated to conserving New Mexico’s natural resources and putting a fine edge on ranch living with style. Spanning granite slopes, 25 alpine lakes with trophy trout, a mile of freestone river lined with towering Pines, heart pounding vistas that never end and fertile bottom lands of the Chama River Valley, only New Mexico’s Mundy Ranch has it. The Mundy Ranch has something for everyone and will soon open Totem’s “Extreme” Golf Course nestled in the pristine foothills of the Mundy Ranch scheduled to be completed by 2012.
“As my wife Trina is a very passionate hunter and conservationist we are both very excited about the opportunity to represent The Mundy Ranch and it’s conservation efforts,” Said Arpin. The Mundy Ranch sets aside 85 percent of each Ranch Land Holding for conservation and believes in protecting our hunting heritage. These are two things that are very important to both Trina and I and we look forward to working with and The Mundy Ranch to preserve the lands for future generations to enjoy.
This is recreation land and the Mundy’s have invested their creativity and financial resources to make this ranch a recreational haven. At the Mundy Ranch, they appreciate the special gifts these lands provide. They want to share these gifts with others, like you, who appreciate the fact that this is one of the last great places in America.
The Mundy Ranch way is simple. Conserve New Mexico’s natural resources, Preserve the astounding beauty of the ranch for future generations and enjoy every day all the gifts that the ranch has to offer.
