CONCORD, NC (04/14/2010) - When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. And that is what Steve Arpin has done, with Mike’s Hard Lemonade.
Arpin has worked hard his whole racing career to get himself where he is today with Venturini Motorsports. After running the first three races on the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/Max and Menards schedule, Arpin was unsure of the funding he had for the rest of the 2010 season. While currently tied for leading the 2010 points, Arpin has been determined and focused to secure funding for the rest of the season with Venturini Motorsports.
Everything is starting to align for this young star. Arpin is coming off of a win at Salem Speedway and has finished top 10 in every 2010 ARCA Racing Series event. Now, Venturini Motorsports and Steve Arpin are proud to announce that Steve Arpin has secured funding to run for the 2010 ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/Max and Menards Championship with the addition of Mike’s Hard Lemonade.
“We have Mike’s Hard Lemonade on board for the next two races of the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/Max and Menards at Texas Motor Speedway and Talladega Super Speedway,” said Arpin. “With securing funding and sponsorship with Mike’s Hard Lemonade, we are now on a mission to win this championship.”
Steve Arpin’s asphalt career starts to look more positive everyday and Arpin is in the right place with Venturini Motorsports to demonstrate the opportunities that he has been giving.
“I have definitely found a new home with Bill, Cathy, and Billy Venturini along with all the guys at the shop. We entered the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/Max and Menards to develop my asphalt racing skills and prepare me for the next level,” said Arpin. “Their program is the real deal and has helped me in all areas of my career. Venturini Motorsports offers great equipment and driver coaching and provides their drivers with the best opportunities. They focus on the full package and know how to get the most out of you. I am pumped to go run for the championship and could not ask for a better team or teammate to do it with.”
Steve Arpin and Mikey Kile will both be running for the championship with Venturini Motorsports. Arpin and Kile have worked outstandingly well together as teammates on and off the track. They both demonstrate the hard work and team bond that it takes to produce results.
“I am really excited that Steve was able to secure funding to finish out the rest of the ARCA season. He is in a great position to go for the championship,” said Billy Venturini, director of competition at Venturini Motorsports. “Steve and Mikey will be true championship contenders. I have been completely impressed the way they have worked as teammates. We have the right people, the right equipment, and the right drivers to run up front all year long. If Mikey and Steve continue to work together as they have so far, the championship will in our grasp by the end of the 2010 season.”
Steve Arpin, still not off his high after winning his first career ARCA race, is ecstatic about the newest announcement with Venturini Motorsports.
“I can't even begin to say how fortunate I am to have people believe in what I am capable of doing. I have had so many people backing me up from the start and they have continued to do so. The Nelson family, Jeff Taylor Motorsports, my mom and dad, our family business Pinewood Sports, Paul and Jon Leach of Lo-N-Bro Enterprises, Jay Clark, and Clyde Ditmars has offered support from day one. Our newest edition to this group is Trent and Davin Emmel and Toby Kruse. They have been long time friends and were excited about getting involved with the great program I am in now with Venturini Motorsports,” said Aprin.
Venturini Motorsports is headed to the next stop on the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/Max and Menards schedule at Texas Motor Speedway. The team was quickest in open practice with Mikey Kile on top of the speed charts in March and Venturini Motorsports looks forward to putting their drivers back on the track.
Rattlesnake 150 at Texas Motor Speedway will be aired live on SPEED on Friday April 16th starting at 6:30 PM CST.
