Fast & Fun Facts:
Dover Recap: Chad McCumbee, who was making his third start in the NASCAR Nationwide Series and first start in the series at the “Monster Mile”, saw a promising run vanish on Saturday, when the rookie fell victim to a late race accident, relegating him and the sophomore team to a 32nd-place finish in the Heluva Good! 200 at Dover International Speedway.
McCumbee at Charlotte: McCumbee has five starts at Charlotte Motor Speedway in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (1) and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (4), but will be making his NASCAR Nationwide Series debut at the 1.5-mile quad-oval. The Supply, NC driver’s best start is 7th (2008) and best finish is 2nd (2008) both in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
Season Review: After 11 of 35 scheduled events on the 2010 NASCAR Nationwide Series schedule, RAB Racing has 10 starts; two top-15 and five top-20 finishes.
Points Check: Following a 32nd-place finish in the Heluva Good! 200 at Dover International Speedway, the No. 09 entry dropped three positions to 27th in the 2010 NASCAR Nationwide Series point standings, a mere 17 points outside the top-25 and 98 markers outside the top-20.
