Fast & Fun Facts:

  • Sean Caisse will make his third start for RAB Racing behind the wheel of the No. 09 Ford Fusion in this weekend’s New England 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Sean’s previous two starts for the sophomore team were at Nashville Superspeedway, finishing 18th, and Kentucky Speedway, finishing 27th.
  • This will be Sean’s fifth career NASCAR Nationwide Series start.
  • Homecoming: Caisse, a Pelham, NH native grew up just 48 miles south of the “Magic Mile”. The 24-year-old rookie currently resides in Davidson, NC, with his wife, Whitney. The couple is expecting their first child, a baby girl, on September 13, 2010. They are planning to name her, Brielle Kay Caisse.

Sean Caisse at the “Magic Mile”: This weekend, Sean will make his 10th start at his “home track”. He has one NASCAR Nationwide Series start (2009) for Richard Childress Racing in the No. 2 Chevrolet, seven starts in the NASCAR K & N Pro Series East (2004-2007) and one start in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour (2004). In just his seven NASCAR K&N Pro Series East starts, the 24-year-old rookie has led 153 laps, has an average start of 7.1 and has two top-5 finishes.

Road America Recap: Robb Brent, who made his debut in the NASCAR Nationwide Series inaugural event at Road America last weekend, showed signs of a promising run when a multi-car incident just past half-way relegated the rookie to a 30th-place finish in the Bucyrus 200 presented by Menards.

After 15: After 15 of the scheduled 35 events on the 2010 NASCAR Nationwide Series schedule, RAB Racing has 14 starts; two top-15 and six top-20 finishes.

Points Check: Due to a 30th-place finish at Road America, the No. 09 RAB Racing team lost momentum back into the top-25. The sophomore team remains 27th in the 2010 NASCAR Nationwide Series owner point standings, a mere 56 markers outside the top-25 and 111 points outside the top-20.
