Police in South Africa have arrested the driver of a minibus that crashed into an oncoming train, killing 10 schoolchildren.
Police spokesman Billy Jones says the 55-year-old driver was taken into custody Sunday after he was discharged from a hospital.
The man allegedly drove his minibus around a lowered gate to cross a train track near Cape Town Wednesday. The resulting crash killed all but four of the children on board.
Jones says the driver, whose name has not been released, will appear in court Tuesday and be charged with homicide.
