ATLANTA (October 8, 2009) – WHEEGO ELECTRIC CARS, manufacturer of all-electric street legal vehicles, today announced it has received official notice from the Oklahoma State Tax Commission that the Wheego Whip is eligible for the Oklahoma State Tax Credit for 2009.
The Wheego Whip LSV qualifies for the Oklahoma State Tax Credit of 50% of the price of the Electric Vehicle. In addition, the Wheego Whip qualifies for the $7500 Federal Tax Credit for Electric Vehicles purchased and delivered in 2009.
The authorization letter reads in part:
“The subject vehicle [Wheego Whip 2010] qualifies as electric motor vehicle property for purposes of the income tax credit found at Section 2357.22 of title 68 of the Oklahoma Statutes.”
