Bus Overturns in Haiti, Killing 9

A bus has overturned in southwestern Haiti, killing at least 9 people and injuring 24.

Civil Protection Director Renel Jean said the bus was traveling near the town of Les Cayes when it swerved to avoid a barricade, collided with a truck, and overturned.

Jean said five of the victims have life-threatening injuries. All the victims have been taken to a hospital in Les Cayes.
