DAYTONA BEACH, FL. (Feb. 02, 2011) -- Ryan Newman was leading Saturday night's Budweiser Shootout going into the final lap, but as the Sprint Cup cars were approaching the checkered flag, he was passed in a sling-shot move, which led to a Kurt Busch victory at Daytona International Speedway. Newman was credited with a third-place finish in the 75-lap, 187.5 mile non-points race.

Following Busch to the checkered flag were: Jamie McMurray, Newman, Jimmie Johnson and Greg Biffle.

Newman's teammate, Tony Stewart, finished 11th.
