Emporia, VA (3-30-2011) – G-Force Karts and Emporia, Virginia natives, Hermie and Elliott Sadler, are joining forces to present the “1st Annual Sadler Brothers Shootout Benefiting Brunswick Academy” on Wednesday night, April 27, at G-Force Karts in Richmond, VA. The event is open to the public and will feature both Sadler brothers in a go-kart race against the fans.
To participate, fans must be pre-qualified for the main event to race against the Sadler brothers. Anyone can qualify throughout the month of April by visiting G-Force Karts in Richmond, American Indoor Karting in Fredericksburg, or American Indoor Karting in Virginia Beach. Each location will take the top-5 adult and top-5 junior qualifiers to advance into the Sadler Brothers Shootout.
Last chance qualifying will take place on the day of the shootout from 12:00-6:00 p.m. at G-Force Karts located at 4245 Carolina Avenue, Richmond, VA. The main go-karting event between Hermie and Elliott will begin at 6:00 p.m. on April 27. If you do not qualify for the main event, you can still come out to support the NASCAR drivers and cheer on the fans as they go head-to-head with Emporia’s Sadler Boys.
Richmond International Raceway will be on site with the 2011 pace car to raffle off a pair of tickets to both the NASCAR Nationwide Series race on Friday, April 29, and the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race under the lights on Saturday night, April 30.
G-Force Karts and Quaker Steak and Lube will also raffle off gift certificates on the day of the event.
Tickets for the event can be purchased for $20 each throughout the month of April at the following locations, with 100% of the proceeds going to Brunswick Academy:
