“New Approach To Boost Fan Club; Help Charities”

MOORESVILLE, North Carolina (April 15, 2011) - - Officials from Mooresville, North Carolina-based Empire Racing LLC and Phoenix, Arizona-based BoomText announced today the creation of the “Hard Corr Fans” program powered by BoomText, an innovative mobile marketing campaign focused on gaining support of Empire Racing, driver Sean Corr and their specific charities.

The “Hard Corr Fans” program is the team’s version of an official Fan Club which will offer exclusive insight to Sean Corr and the Empire Racing team, a chance to win a autographed hood of their favorite Ford driver but most importantly a percentage of the pledge will be donated equally between the Make A Wish Foundation, B.R.A.K.E.S. and the United States Equestrian Federation.

To join the campaign, fans just simply have to text the word “CORR” to 411247. They will receive a response with a welcome text from the two companies before receiving a follow-up text to a secure website where they can make their pledge amount which starts at $10.00. The “Hard Corr Fans” program will also be available through the team’s website at empireracingllc.com.

“This is something completely out of the box,” said Goshen, New York native and driver Sean Corr. “We’ve been working on this idea for about a month and a half and have found a great partner in BoomText to allow our “Hard Corr Fans” program to launch. The bonus to our program is that we’ll be adding a few surprises along the way. Our No. 82 Empire Racing Ford Fusion will carry the “Hard Corr Fans” logo powered on BoomText this Friday at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway and we’re looking for a booming performance!”

BoomText co-founder, Spencer Brannan, states, “We [BoomText] couldn’t be more excited to be a part of this campaign.” Brannan continues to discuss the strength of text messaging, “Text Messaging is an extremely powerful tool that creates immediate responses and call to action.” He continues to say, “Text messaging will allow fans to feel like they are connected with the race and at the same time be able to help support Empire Racing and their selected charities!”

The Empire Racing team will begin to promote their new campaign in Friday’s ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards event at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway where Corr qualified 19th in the No. 82 Text “CORR” to 411247 Ford Fusion.

The 3 Amigos 250 (94 laps / 250 miles) is the second of 19 events on the 2011 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards schedule. The 49th ever ARCA race at Talladega Superspeedway is a two-day show. A 45-minute final practice has been etched in on Friday, April 15 from 10:00 a.m. – 10:55 a.m. The event will take the green flag that afternoon shortly after 4:00 p.m. The race will be televised live on SPEED with additional live broadcasting available through the ARCA Racing Network (ARN) online at arcaracing.com in collaboration with Alabama’s local WTDR Thunder 92.7 FM. All times are local (Central).
