Collision Kills 17 in Haiti

Police in Haiti say 17 people were killed Saturday when a bus collided with a heavy truck Saturday in southern Haiti.

Officials said both of the vehicles were maneuvering to avoid a burned-out car frame which was located in a blind curve in the road.

The vehicle had been burned last week by protesters during last Sunday's elections.
