Kyle/Kevin, Updates

Jeremy T Sellers (Jerm's Joint)

Wow, the media just won't leave the Kyle/Kevin thing alone, will they? Now, anyone who knows me will tell you if Kyle Busch caught fire, I wouldn't piss on him. As a matter of fact, I'd probably find the closest gas can and toss it! I will go on record as saying him ramming Harvick's car like he did after the race was not only cheap, but doing so, knocked it out of gear and created a 3500 pound rolling tragedy. We were just fortunate that no one was between the front of the 29 and the wall on pit road. In my opinion, both drivers should have parked their cars, then Happy should have proceeded to beat the shit out of the Keebler Elf. That would have been true "old school"...not trying to deck Kyle through his window, and Kyle not creating what could have been a catastrophe by ramming Harvick's car post-race. The media would have really had something to show if they had just taken the gloves off and gone at it...OUT of the cars. Beat the hell out of each other until their were bone ends, and large amounts of arterial bleeding! Whoever is alive at the end, wins!

In a strange twist of irony, this is the first All Star Race I have had off in four years. However, unless there are race fans at the World Expo of Beer in Frankenmuth, I will again, miss it. It was a tough choice, but the chance to sample a few of over 450 beers from 50 different breweries caught my fancy. I promise to make up for it by watching the Coca-Cola 600 while at work the Sunday following. Also, it appears the missus and I will be attending the Prelude to the Dream at Eldora June 8th. I didn't buy fancy tickets, but simply just general admission which will require we bring our own seats. Down and dirty, watching the cup guys turn right to go left! Then I think, Kentucky isn't far away either. We have some pretty good seats for that one!

If you haven't noticed, I added the iRacing standings on the site. I have kicked this idea around for over a year after NASCAR became the governing body of that series. Not only that, some of the big leaguers drop in from time to time to partake in an event. It looks like this season, Justin Lowery from the truck series is a frequent visitor. Jr. likes to dabble as well. I haven't watched an iRacing event in some time. You use to be able to go to DMPracing.com and create an account. Don't know if it is up and running any longer. I will let you know what I find out.

Summer beers have finally made their way onto the shelves. May I suggest Oberon, Aprihops (while still available), Red and White, and Stone has several varieties out now!
