Bus Crash in Sudan Kills 28

Officials say two buses have collided on a road near the border between southern Sudan and Uganda, killing at least 28 people.

A Ugandan police spokesman said the two buses hit each other Friday some 50 kilometers from the Ugandan border in southern Sudan. He says at 17 of those killed were Ugandans.

Road accidents are common in southern Sudan.
