Mazda has joined other auto makers in providing its new and certified used car buyers with vehicle maintenance option through its Mazda Total Advantage program that was launched lately.
This was probably the company's way of valuing used and new car finder who is prioritizing their vehicles over other car makers that also provide vehicles and auto financing options to car finders.
Under the Mazda Total Advantage program, brand new and certified used car buyers are given the option to pay for a pre-paid maintenance package. This simply means that Mazda is not charging the preliminary maintenance expenses that car buyers would be paying on their vehicles' MSRP.
Due to this program, car buyers and owners of Mazda vehicles could possibly save around 20 to 30 percent from maintenance expenses compared to the a la carte offers previously provided by dealerships.
Given this, Mazda vehicle owners are given the chance to obtain greater benefits from the company since vehicle maintenance usually consume significant amounts of money that are usually handled by the owners out of their own money. In addition to this, vehicle owners could also use the savings from enrolling on Mazda's Total Advantage program to other expenses such as for paying their car loans and other types of financing.
Upon its introduction to the company's customers, the Mazda Total Advantage program eventually become in demand. In fact, Mazda has noticed that almost 50 percent of its current buyers are subscribing to the program which simply means that these customers preferred to have their vehicle serviced by Mazda dealers.
This program however does not only benefit the company's buyers but also Mazda itself. This is because aside from increasing the number of customers that prefer to have their vehicle maintained by Mazda dealers, the program would also help the car maker in increasing their buyers' retention rate.
However, this program is only limited to pre-owned vehicles that were certified and produced in 2007. This means that the models that were assembled and sold in 2006 or earlier are not qualified. Latest Mazda models on the other hand are automatically included as well as the upcoming ones.
