History

The following section is an excerpt from Wikipedia's Mazda CX-90 page on 10 February 2025, text available via the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License.

The Mazda CX-90 is a full-size crossover SUV with three-row seating produced by the Japanese automaker Mazda. It is the second vehicle to use Mazda's rear- and all-wheel drive with longitudinal engine layout categorized as Large Product Group after the CX-60. The largest Mazda SUV to date, the CX-90 replaced the CX-9.

A version with two-row seating, while retaining the same bodywork, body length and engine options is marketed as the Mazda CX-70. The CX-70 was introduced in January 2024, featuring minor styling differences compared to the CX-90.

The CX-90 was revealed on 31 January 2023, for the North American market, while a release in the Australian and Middle Eastern markets occurred later during 2023.
