Due to interference between the air brake hoses and the frame cross-member at the rear axle, the air brake hose may become pinched or be damaged, resulting in the loss of air pressure to the air brakes. Consequence: A loss of air pressure to the air brakes can result in a loss of service brakes, increasing the risk of a crash. Remedy: Vermeer will notify owners, and dealers will re-reroute the air brake hose, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin on, or about, September 27, 2012.
