SUMMARY: MY HUSBAND WAS REAR-ENDED BY A CAR AT APPROXIMATELY 30MPH IN OUR 1992 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN. THE BACK OF THE DRIVERS SEAT COLLAPSED. FORTUNATELY HE WAS NOT HURT, BUT HE COULD EASILY HAVE LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. ALSO, IF OUR 8 YEAR OLD CHILD HAD BEEN WITH HIM, SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN RIDING IN THE SEAT DIRECTLY BEHIND THE DRIVER AND COULD HAVE BEEN SEVERLY INJURED.
